Exposing the hidden story of use in each piece brings me a great deal of satisfaction. Deeply textured surfaces, worn and removed ghost images and marks that record action + time and place. I'm obsessed with the story of worn surfaces...spaces and objects that hold the energy of daily ritual and utility. My work is an expression of those moments embedded into common materials. This isn't high-end art...it's the story of the moment.
