Grist is rooted in found materials, then layered with paint, sawdust, paper, old book pages, waxed twine and other remnants of the past.
Scraped, worn, sanded, rebuilt and marked deliberately, each piece arrives at a surface that feels inhabited and enduring.
These pieces complete a space without competing with it.
The approach is nearly identical on all three substrates, but each one answers it differently. Canvas carries less layering. Boxes take on more wear and tear and Wood is accented with rusty screws and hardware.

1. Share your space — photos, wall dimensions, existing palette
2. We discuss direction — substrate (canvas, box or square), color, mood, scale, surface
3. Sample or study piece produced for approval if needed
4. Commission confirmed in writing — 50% deposit to begin
5. Completed work delivered with installation specs — shipping billed at cost
